For art deco architecture, people watching, beach going and the IN place to be seen then you must visit the iconic Miami Beach Ocean Drive and Collins Avenue. Trendy restaurants and nightlife will keep you going long into the night and early morning to watch the sunrise over breakfast if that is what you seek.  Ocean Drive is one of the most popular areas in Miami, an area known as South Beach. This is where all those Miami Vice images you have of Miami are here: beach bodies, rollerblading, walking along the edge of the ocean, white sand for putting your toes in and building sand castles, tropical cocktails, Latin music, expensive sport cars, luxury yachts, shopping, restaurants and of course those historic art deco buildings! If something more quiet and historic is your preference then travel back in time at the iconic Vizcaya Museum and Gardens right on Biscayne Bay. I truly enjoyed my visit to this charming piece of history located in Miami’s Coconut Grove when I visited. Enjoy 10 beautiful acres (when first built in 1912 it was originally 180 acres) of spectacular Italianate gardens and the first floor of the Main House. Stroll the gardens and property on any given day you may catch true love with a wedding being performed or rehearsed. Engagement photos are sought after at the stunning gardens and architecture of Vizcaya. This is a family friendly attraction in Miami for all ages. Please inquire for covid requirements before visiting. Visit this National Historic Landmark from the Gilded age Thursday through Monday, 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
